No, Seriously...does anybody have an Advil?

My life may have a holiday hangover, but my body has a traveling hangover.

I went on a very active road trip with friends this weekend. Classes, food, drinks and dancing until the wee hours. All in all, a great trip. But my legs are KILLING me!

I just got back - figured I'd drop a note to all who inquired. But for now, I'm off to get an Advil and hit the sack.

Are the sore legs worth it though? Sounds like a small price to pay for a weekend full of fun.

I played darts last Saturday and am still suffering from a sore shoulder 9 days later! But when that goes away, all I'll remember is how much fun I had. The same will happen with you too, very soon I hope!

Two "bad" things left over from the Paris trip: 1)sort of in wine withdrawal. We had wine - and in fairly substantial amounts - absolutely every night except for the night before we returned home, and now I kinda miss it, especially the part where my employer covered the check! 2)Wine snobbery. We were used to decent-but-cheap wines before we left. We spent a week drinking lots of GOOD Bordeaux and Margaux wines and we came back home to our selection and, well, quite frankly, it SUCKS! So we're contemplating the leap from $5 and $10 bottles of wine to the $30 to $50 bottles of wine! YOWCH!

We're not missing the late nights out, though. I don't know when we got old, but we did.

I just got over a cold. The one silver lining to not feeling quite right is it makes you appreciate the times you feel good!

Pardon the belatedness of the response....

Flash, Hell yeah, the sore legs are SO worth it. Almost a badge of honor...

Chloe, I feel better by now, and the memories, quite good.

Farrago , We'll have to have some decent wine if you're ever in the same neck of the woods.

mr. Schprock, Glad to hear you're feeling better!

I'll be back to my posting and commenting self soon, but I think I need one or two days of hibernation when work allows...
